ABOUT THE FIRM
LOWELL S. FRIEDMAN
The founder and Managing Member of the Friedman Law Firm, PLLC, Lowell is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. A member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan, Lowell's long-term practice focuses exclusively on Family Law and Criminal Defense.
Lowell is actively in involved in the community. His activities include serving on the Board of Directors of Hillel Day School as well as participating in several local civic organizations in the Royal Oak and Berkley area.
Lowell is happily married to his wife, Jennifer, a Ph.D. in psychology working in the Walled Lake School District as well as in private practice in Bloomfield Hills. Lowell and Jennifer enjoy spending time with their two children.
PAUL Y. TARNAVSKY
Paul graduated from Brother Rice High School in 1998 and then from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Economics in 2002. Immediately thereafter, Paul entered law school and graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2005. He then opened his own law practice, where his focus on general civil litigation and criminal defense led him to the Friedman Law Firm.
Paul is a criminal defense, family law, and taxation specialist. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Maria, as well as screenwriting and studying cinematography.
KAREN S. WICKING
Karen joined the Friedman Law Firm in November 2010. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Health Administration, Gerontology and Communication. In May 2011, she will have obtained her Associates in Paralegal Studies from Henry Ford Community College.
